2024 Terra Product Warranties

WHAT WARRANTY COVERS

Terra warrants to you, the original purchaser, that the products you have selected are free from defects in material and workmanship.

Warranty duration varies based on the type of product you purchase. Please see below for specific product categories.

DURATION OF WARRANTIES

Structural – Aluminum Frames

This limited structural warranty on Ventana products lasts for a period of ten (10) years from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”).

If the aluminum frame fails structurally (i.e., broken frame or welds) under normal use or conditions, we will at our option, replace or repair the frame in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar style if color or model has been discontinued. Components such as chair feet are subject to wear and tear and are not considered part of the frame.

Exceptions to this 10-year limited structural warranty policy include moving parts found on swivel chairs and folding furniture, which have a Warranty Period of three (3) years.

Finishes

This limited finish warranty lasts for a period of five (5) years from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”). Warranty covers peeling, blistering and flaking of paint.

All-weather wicker is warrantied for three (3) years against excessive fading and cracking.

In the event that a finish, style or fabric has been discontinued, Terra reserves the right to substitute the defective frame in a similar style or color, at its option.

Structural – Wood Frames

If the teak or acacia frame fails structurally (i.e., broken frame, splitting) within three (3) years from the date of receipt of merchandise, we will, at our option, replace, repair or refinish the product in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued.

Wood frames require user maintenance, and changes in the color of wood are normal and should be expected to occur over time as the natural material ages. Therefore, fading and color changes in wood frames are not covered by this warranty. Components such as chair feet are subject to wear and tear and are not considered part of the frame.

Teak is warranted based on quality of workmanship – not fading, discoloration or mildew-resistance.

All-Weather Wicker

If the hand-woven resin weave breaks or structurally deteriorates, or if the weave excessively fades or becomes discolored within three (3) years from the date of receipt of merchandise, we will at our option, replace, repair or refinish the product in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued. The weave will not be warrantied if the structural deterioration, unraveling, discoloration, fading, etc., is due to chemicals, cleaning products, sunblock, et. al., use in commercial settings, or exposure to extreme heat or sunlight. Components such as chair feet are subject to wear and tear and are not considered part of the frame.

Concrete (GFRC)

If a GFRC (glass fiber-reinforced concrete) product fails structurally within three (3) years from the date of receipt of merchandise, we will, at our option, repair or replace the product, in the original color and style if available, or in a similar color and style if original has been discontinued. GFRC products are sealed at the factory and should be re-sealed annually for proper care and maintenance, and to help prevent staining.

Rope Strapping

If a rope strap breaks within three (3) years of the date of receipt of merchandise, a replacement will be issued, in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued. If a rope strap becomes faded or mildewed within three (3) years of the date of receipt of merchandise, a replacement will be issued in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued. The strap will not be warrantied if the deterioration, discoloration, fading, etc., is due to chemicals, cleaning products, sunblock, et. al., use in commercial settings, or exposure to extreme heat or sunlight.

Cushions

This limited cushion warranty lasts for a period of one (1) year from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”). Warranty covers workmanship of the cushion itself and the filler for one (1) year.

This warranty does not cover normal care and cleaning; damage from misuse or abuse; or mildew and mold growth on dirt, pollen and other organic matter. Simple routine cleanings will prevent these substances from forming on fabrics. Any failures in stitching, zippers, cording, cushion foam or other areas of workmanship will be warrantied for one (1) year. The fabric will not be warrantied if deterioration, discoloration, fading, etc., is due to chemicals, cleaning products, sunblock, et. al., use in commercial settings, or exposure to extreme heat or sunlight.

If the fabric on a cushion becomes unserviceable due to color or strength loss from normal usage and exposure conditions within one (1) year of the date of receipt of merchandise, we will repair or replace the fabric in the original color and pattern if available, or in a similar color and pattern if the original has been discontinued.

Slings

This limited sling warranty lasts for a period of one (1) year from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”). Warranty covers breaking or pulling out of frame. Slings are warranted based on quality of workmanship – not fading, discoloration, mildew-resistance or stretching.

In the event that a style or fabric has been discontinued, Terra reserves the right to substitute the defective sling in a similar style or color, at its option.

Fire Tables

Fire table products come with separate warranties, depending on the manufacturer.

American Fyre Designs
American Fyre Designs (“AFD”) exterior glass fiber-reinforced concrete (GFRC) fire features (“products”), fireplaces, fire tables, fire urns, fire bowls, lanterns, firefalls, gas logs, burners and stainless-steel firepit burners for outdoor installation are warranted for three (3) years. AFD electrical components, valves, accessories and controls (excluding batteries, wind guards and screens) are warranted for one (1) year. For more details, contact the manufacturer.

Jensen
Jensen warrants that the following components of its fire tables (“the Product”) will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship after correct assembly and under normal use and proper maintenance for the periods indicated. The body is warranted for five (5) years from the date of purchase of the Product. The internal components are warranted for two (2) years from the date of purchase of the Product. The burner system is warranted for the life of the Product. For more details, contact the manufacturer.

RealFlame
Real Flame warrants that the following components of its fire tables (“the Product”) will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship after correct assembly and under normal use and proper maintenance for the period indicated. The body, internal components and burner system are warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase of the Product. For more details, contact the manufacturer.

Ventana (Terra Outdoor)
Terra warrants that the following components of its fire tables will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship after correct assembly and under normal use and proper maintenance for the period indicated. The frame is warranted for ten (10) years from the date of receipt of merchandise ("Warranty Period"). The finish is warranted for three (3) years from the date of receipt of merchandise ("Warranty Period"). The burner is warranted for one (1) year from the date of receipt of merchandise ("Warranty Period").

Treasure Garden Umbrellas, Bases & Base Weights

Warranties are provided by the manufacturer, not by Terra. See manufacturer’s information for details.

Warranties do not cover wind damage. Umbrella canopies should always be lowered and secured when not in use.

The limited warranty for AKZ Plus Cantilever and Auto-Tilt umbrellas lasts for a period of two (2) years from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”). This limited warranty includes powder-coated finish, frame, ribs, finial, tilt, cord, crank handle, housing, canopy and rib pocket seams.

The limited warranty for AG Cantilever, Push-Button Tilt, Glide-Tilt and Quad Pulley umbrellas, umbrella bases and base weights lasts for a period of one (1) year from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”). This limited warranty includes powder-coated finish, frame, ribs, finial, tilt, cord, crank handle, housing, canopy and rib pocket seams.

TUUCI Cabanas, Umbrellas, Bases & Mount Kits

Warranties are provided by the manufacturer, not by Terra. See manufacturer’s information for details.

TUUCI products are expertly constructed, tested and inspected to ensure adherence to the highest standards. The warranties below cover manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover damage caused by falling or high winds. Umbrella canopies should always be lowered and secured when not in use.

The limited Ocean Master M1 and Ocean Master Max warranty for the entire frame structure including mast, hubs, struts, brackets and hardware lasts for a period of fifteen (15) years from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”).

The limited Ocean Master M1 and Ocean Master Max warranty for frame finishes including powdercoat, manual lift systems, and related components including gear boxes and worm drives lasts for a period of five (5) years from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”).

The limited Ocean Master M1 and Ocean Master Max warranty for electrical components including LED lighting, heaters and automation components lasts for a period of one (1) year from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”).

The limited Solanox warranty for the entire frame structure including trellis walls, trellis roof, beams, columns and bench supports lasts for a period of fifteen (15) years from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”).

The limited Solanox warranty for frame finishes including powdercoat and louvered roof mechanical components lasts for a period of five (5) years from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”).

The limited Solanox warranty for electrical components including LED lighting, heaters and automation components lasts for a period of one (1) year from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”).

The limited Aluma-Crete, G-Plate and In-Ground warranty for stainless-steel stems, flushmounts, security mounts, bottom plates, frames and galvanized steel plates lasts for a period of fifteen (15) years from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”).

The limited Aluma-Crete, G-Plate and In-Ground warranty for stainless-steel hardware (hitch pins, bolts, star knobs), beauty covers, concrete pavers, filled concrete and finishes including powdercoat and louvered roof mechanical components lasts for a period of five (5) years from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”).

Ventana Furniture Covers

This limited warranty lasts for a period of five (5) years from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”).

Treasure Garden Furniture Covers

This limited warranty lasts for a period of one (1) year from the date of receipt of merchandise (“Warranty Period”).

TO OBTAIN SERVICE

Any claim under these warranties should be initiated within the specific Warranty Period (as specified above) by contacting Terra. A copy of the original sales receipt is required. Terra reserves the right to examine all merchandise claimed to be defective. Upon approval of the claim, Terra will authorize either repair or replacement of the defective frame, cushion, sling, umbrella or part.

DISCLAIMER

Each warranty above is a limited warranty. Regular care and maintenance is required to maintain the warranty. Warranty applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase including original receipt showing items purchased is required. Photographs/digital images are required in certain instances. Warranty coverage begins on the date of receipt of merchandise. If a color or model has been discontinued and replacement is required, we reserve the right to replace the affected item only with a similar color or model. This is a residential warranty and does not apply to commercial use. Note: Terra or its suppliers may discontinue any component part such as fabric, paint, etc., at any time.

GENERAL EXCLUSIONS

The following events are excluded from the warranties above:

  • Failure caused by unreasonable or abusive use
  • Fire
  • Acts of nature (such as, but not limited to, freezing or high winds)
  • Sunblock or other chemicals
  • Normal scratching or chipping of finish
  • Fading, weathering, staining or discoloration of furniture
  • Accidental damage or modifications by consumer
  • Glass breakage
  • Commercial use
  • Normal wear and tear

Defects that develop due to extreme climate conditions are not covered by the warranties above.

These warranties do not apply to floor samples or “seconds.”
