Our first love, teak is naturally weather-resistant and strong, thanks to its dense grain and high oil content. To ensure our teak furniture is as earth-friendly as it is beautiful, we primarily use premium Grade-A solid material that’s plantation-grown and sustainably harvested. We make sure all of our teak is Indonesian legal wood, certified by Perum Perhutani, a government-managed enterprise that oversees the state forests. Our teak is also kiln-dried, so it won’t warp or split, and precision-cut for consistency and stability. Left untreated, it will weather to a handsome grey hue. We offer select pieces in weathered teak, which is made of a different yet durable grade of wood that features a light stain to mimic the effects of aging.
